The project is to offer students a range of combinatorial furniture.
Furniture that leaves them free to compose their space, furniture that can adapt and follow the evolution of their needs and desires...

Although, with a few adjustments, all 419 rooms in the residence have identical furnishings, the intention is that they should in fact all be different.
Each part of each piece of furniture is produced in 3 colors, which are combined in different harmonies, creating different compositions.
The furniture itself - a bed, a shelf, a desk, a pedestal table, a chair - can be combined. They can be associated in different ways, forming different compositions: of use, of form, of color...
Each room is thus potentially unique - even before the students move in!
The modest surface area of the rooms also invites a combination of functions: the bed accommodates drawers, which become benches or coffee tables, the chair becomes a valet...

A wooden backboard structures the wall furniture, creating a soothing horizontal line through the room. It softens angles, envelops, and creates a warm, comfortable nest.
