French Institute of Pondichery

As a follow up to the collaboration initiated in 1999 with Indian craftsmen, the furniture lightness and multi functionality are developed here for the library and the common areas of the French Institute.
The cafeteria table is composed of a single wood slat, which is used both for the table top and leg. Like pieces of a puzzle, the low tables can be assembled in a great number of manners, creating various shapes, according to the different events and seasons at the institute.
