Manufactured in India by a small artisanal company, one of the main purposes of this project is to associate a contemporary western approach to furniture with traditional local skills. The reading room chair combines a visual and structural lightness, with traditional joinery work, its structure consumes less material and highlights the natural softness and transparency of the weave.
Multi layer structures create transparencies and opacities and allow air and light to circulate throughout every pieces of furniture.
