The exhibition presents the contemporary scene and the history of graffiti.
The ground floor, the façade of the building and the garden welcome contemporary artists: the spaces are offered to them as they are, i.e. without having removed the scenography of the previous exhibition (devoted to Beatriz Milhazes), thus offering a wide variety of supports and situations to be invested.
At the same time, the installation of a palisade on the façade of the building allows the exhibition to spill over into the city, making it permeable to the energy of the street.
The basement presents historical documents and contextualising elements of the birth of the movement.
Rather than presenting each work in isolation, the scenography and the hanging intend to highlight the energy and creative enthusiasm of the movement, from its birth in New York in the 1970s to the present day...
